Jennifer Huyser, PT, MS, is the founder and treating physical therapist at Performance Stretch and Mobility in Kansas City. After earning a BS in Biology from Drake University in 1996 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 2000, Jennifer began a career working with adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Over time, she developed a passion for pediatric care, spending 15 years at a children’s hospital where she specialized in sports medicine and aquatic therapies.
In 2016, Jennifer opened Northland Pediatric Physical Therapy to meet the growing demand for accessible pediatric physical therapy services. Driven by a commitment to combine compassion with professionalism, Jennifer ensures that every child receives the care they need to reach their full potential. Recognizing the importance of integrative therapy, she later established Performance Stretch and Mobility, a clinic that merges traditional physical therapy with health and wellness practices to enhance overall quality of life.
Jennifer is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, with memberships in the Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, and Aquatic specialty sections. Beyond her professional work, Jennifer enjoys life with her husband of 26 years, three children, and three dogs. A former athlete with a history of competing in triathlons and half-marathons, Jennifer now focuses on exercise modalities that blend mobility and strength, such as yoga, pilates, and weight training. In her free time, she loves spending time at the lake with family, traveling, and discovering new hiking trails across the country.
